Model Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has taken on another acting role in upcoming ARY serial Beti and she hopes that the drama's message helps people change the way they think about daughters.
This year Sajal has proved to be quite memorable for Eli; He appeared in two very talkative drama serials: Yakin Saifar and O Rangreja, both of the leading entertainment channels Huay TV. Sajal is working fast after breakout in Malkhan of Mehmudabad (a family drama on private TV channel AYY Digital in 2011) and has made a long list of praise on the way, including winning two nominations in the prestigious Lux Style Awards 2018. Winning the Best Female Actress Award for Best Actress category and at the HUM Awards, not just once but three times It is strange to see him on the television screen in tough roles, which defines the power of his sharp little screen, where in real life he is indefinitely refined, kind, submissive and real. Well, in the interview, a lot of actors are in some kind of character, but what I find is that I feel that you will meet at home.
In Beti, we see Saheefa play a strong-headed woman who marries into a family (played by Fahad Mirza, Asma Abbas and Javed Sheikh) who have the vile practice of aborting girl babies by force. The drama follows how Saheefa makes sure her unborn daughter doesn't meet the same fate.
Speaking about the serial, Saheefa said, "I'm looking at social media reactions and there are so many people who can't believe that families like this still exist. They're saying ARY is just creating depressing dramas for the ratings. But that's not true.
She continued, "I know people in my family who go on holy pilgrimages to pray for sons to be born in their family. My cousin was severely depressed because she had three daughters. What are people talking about?"
"We need to break this mindset. Our own religion tells us that daughters are a blessing and 1400 years later, after so many advancements in society and learning, we still considers daughters a burden. I want people to be aware of the fact that there's no difference between sons and daughters. The young women in my family have accomplished much more than the ghar ke betay."
Beti has been directed by Mohsin Mirza and written by Sofia Khurram. It will air on ARY Digital.
Qatar - The Raging Queen
He is just as comfortable and very calm because he passes on the soda and asks me to catch immediately. The 24-year-old eyes go from one project to another; Angana is completing her shooting for the period drama serial, Angana (Angana in English) on Hu TV, starring with Raza Mir, Mavro Hoken, Ahsan Khan and Sonya Hussain. As the teaser was released before the courtyard, there was the horrors of love and praise from the fans of the young actress who used to share their videos with dialogues of love. He laughs with kindness, even if his eyes are full of naughty glow, that he then tempers with a deep reflection or two. 'Khamm life is bigger than life's character. She is representing the positivity of firmness, heart and heart breaking. Every character in the play is equally important. Generally it happens that in the play a lead and story revolves around that particular character, but each character has its own journey in the courtyard. It is about everyone involved and adheres to many beautiful characters. It makes it interesting that it focuses on the division of a family. The real 'drama' written by Sajal by Mustafa Afridi is looking at the physical and emotional division of the country, the courtyard is established in 1940 to touch the basis of the pre-partition era. Where the audience has already set a Benchmark for a period drama with the tastings broadcast on Huawei in 2010, and Sanam Baloch and Fawad Khan have been shown as heroes. Is there any similarity between the courtyard and the tent? Sajal says, 'Well there is no equality between the two except the time line. 'Why would we want to repeat the same thing? Even the shots we have taken are very different. You can understand that from teaser, he said. The first teaser showed some intense chemistry between the characters of Sajal Eli and Ahmed Raza Mir in between Chammy and Jamil, in which Sajal responded, "We have shot teasers for each character, not only me and not Ahad. Altogether there are about eight teasers. I never wanted to have my teaser first come out before I got out But then the team decided to play with me and the character of Ahad. So here it is. You see that we still still have personal teasers to come out. Almost a decade now, when we see Sajal shining our television screen and portraying the characters, we can be related to our everyday life. 'For the last few years, I am putting more stress on being related to the characters playing on the screen. As an independent person, I have a certain set of principles that I follow in my life, which teaches me in my dear mother and environment; I want to see those principles in a script. Sjal Eli says. Sajal Eli did a Pakistani film Zindagi Kitni Haseen Oh in 2016 and then with the Bollywood movie, Mother (2017) Siri Devi. So can we expect to take a cinema screen again to take a sizzle? 'Yes. There are some things in the pipeline. But the script is the most important thing for me. I will only go when the script I offered is as strong as the characters described in my serial. I would not like to do some traditional deep rooted, strong character, which I am hoping for, Sajalasajal is currently shooting with his upcoming drama serial Alif for Humza Ali Abbasi, Kubra Khan and Ahsan Khan.
Unique Attraction of 'Marie Baji' by ARY Digital
x
Is it Javeria Abbasi’s flawless acting or is it Kiran Tabeer’s multifaceted character or Aroha Khan’s portrayal of an innocent maid? fans are yet to decide what keeps them glued to their screens when ‘Meri Baji’ airs on ARY Digital.
The drama, based upon the story or you can say stories of housemaids, is breaking viewership records for it takes one on a completely different journey than most of 7PM plays about the typical saas-bahu feuds.
In its 50th episode, the drama hasn’t lost its charm but has in fact multiplied its viewership with the story line getting captivating by every single episode
The plot revolves around a housemaid Nasreen (played by Javeria Abbasi) who along with her two daughters work in different houses to earn their livelihood.
One of her daughters, Raabi (Kiran Tabeer) get s carried away by the wealth of her lady and her fiance and tries to seduce her fiance while the other, Neelofur (played by Aroha Khan) is a simple girl who loves one of her neighbours but finds that her father wants to sell her.
Chutki, the little one, is studying but her mother forces her to work 24/7 in a household.
The menfolk of Nasreen’s household are useless and earn next to nothing.
As poverty rules the house, her son turns into a street criminal while her husband Sharafat (played by Rashid Farooqui) seldom leaves house to drive his rickshaw, the commercial vehicle her wife bought him.
The drama shows the miserable conditions they work in, their household issues and the abuse they go through by their masters.
‘The stories were already there’
As we asked fans about why they never leave a single episode of the play, they had a variety of opinions but all were of the view that the drama filled a void.
“These stories of maids, the abuse they suffer at the hands of their masters were always there, they just demanded to be told. This drama, however, tells it in a very unique fashion, it is not a sobfest but is bringing everything they go through step by step without turning gory,” said one fan.
Another fan said that the drama has shown ‘all shades of maids’ as Raabi (Kiran Tabeer) is a cunning maid but Neeli (Aroha Khan) is a simple girl who had to even fight for her honour.
Another one remarked that the drama has successfully won the case for the most ’empowered lot of women’ i.e. maids for it aptly showed they can fight all their battles.
“The way Nasreen treats all is how a working woman should do, she doesn’t respect those who don’t respect her,” said the fan.
Some fans also praised the play for “aptly showing’ how our so-called “educated elite” not only abuses poor maids but also employs childmaids and mistreats them.
